Sandro was a more than a decent replacement of Huddlestone against Chelsea scoring amazing goal from distance. It was a hard game for Marriner and we think that Redknapp is right to complain about the conservative methods in the football and the unused new technologies. However, we saw many nice saves by Gomes and a decent appearance of the central defenders which closed the way to the goal for Torres. We have to admit that Tottenham were very passive at the second half and the expected aggression by Lennon wasn’t achieved.

Blackpool have a tough fixtures till the end of the season and we expect to make all they can do in London. The fighting actions by DJ Campbell weren’t enough for victory against Stoke- it was a nasty battle- the leader Adam made many mistakes when he was passing, but the good news for the defence is the deserved clean sheet.
