Another consecutive loss for Sunderland. But this time we could see their spark for a while. The first half was the better for them against West Bromich, but even the two goals weren’t enough for a point. The Black cats admitted the actions to be moved on their half of the field and only thanks to the goalkeeper Mignolet they succeeded to lose only by one goal difference. Despite the poor performance we believe they will overcome the “Bent- syndrome”. Without Mensah (and probably Ferdinand) we expect the problems and defence to get deeper.
Birmigham should be happy about the point with Blackburn. It is keeping them still over the relegation line. They are the favorites in this game and if they win, the position of these two rivals will be changed. The performance at the back was pretty well as usual, but after receiving a punch one of the mainstays for Birmingham Roger Johnson made a crucial mistake. The McLeish’s side is not so confident at home lately, but we are not sure if Sunderland are capable to stop their poor run.
Tip: Bet #1: Birmingham win by exactly one goal- Stake: 3/10 Odds: 4.00
Bet #2: Correct score 1-1- Stake: 3/10 Odds: 6.50
