Stabæk hit back at full after the cruel  premiere against Lillestrøm. They took a strong win against Rosenborg at Lerkendal.  This give us a pretty good picture of how things are in Tippeligaen, where everyone beats everyone. We must say that Stabæk did not play out Rosenborg, but it was clear that they have been working  on the defensive as they did not let the hosts get too many chances, while they were very effective. It is important to have the defensive in place when you meet high-flying Vålerenga here. The meeting in the corresponding match in the second round last year,  This ended 1-1.

VIF have won both their matches without any conceded, but  without really impressing. This is typical for a top team, so we would think that Vålerenga will be a team to look out for this year. Beating Aalesund 2-0 on Friday was ok and could be won with larger numbers there. Have a clear strength at home. And we think that we'll see a more cynical VIF team in away games this season.

Looks really like a draw as the most likely alternative in this duel, even though none of these teams played a lot of tie last season. We also believe that both teams will be happy with points sharing at Telenor Arena on Friday.
