Monaco got a 1:1 draw against Auxerre away from home. Auxerre pushed from beginning and created some good chances. In 26th minute Julien Quercia opened the score after Oliech pass - paradoxically after a counter attack as Auxerre were unable to finish better chances when they were building positional attack. Auxerre continued to push for goals, but wasted next chances. Later Monaco tried to bounce back and their started creating some chances. Finally, in 71th minute they scored goal after Adriano' strike. Auxerre's striker Jelen had an effort on goal, but he missed the target. A bit unlucky game for Auxerre. Monaco loaned out striker Mbokani to Wolfsburg, he scored 1 goal and collected 3 assists in 10 Ligue 1 games. When he was bought for almost 7 000 000 euro everyone expecting something more from him, now Wolfsburg loaned him in for almost 1 million. Monaco signed M. Diarra from Real Madrid - defensive midfielder should be big reinforcement for Monaco. Monaco will play with the strongest XI - M. Diarra is set for debut.

Marseille won 2:1 against Bordeaux at home. Olympique were better in this game. They started good, created some chances. Gignac scored in 23th minute after Taiwo's cross. Since this moment Bordeaux started play better, but they were unable to find the net. In dying seconds of the first half Valbuena found the way to win the ball and pass to Brandao who scored for 2:0. This was his first Ligue 1 goal this season. Bordeaux pushed in second half, but had problems with scoring, Olympique had their chances too, but result was still the same. Finally Bordeaux got a penalty for foul on Sane and substitute striker Anthony Modeste scored for Bordeaux in 74th minute. In last 16 minutes Bordeaux were unable to do anything more and Brandao wasted a chance to score for 3:1. Deserved win. Bordeaux showed one more time that they are able to score only after set piece (penalty kick this time). Important goalkeeper Steve Mandanda had flu, but he is in the match squad. Key winger Mathieu Valbuena (3 goals and 3 assists) is injured. Useful striker Brandao (1 goal and 3 assists) is suspended. Regular right fullback César Azpilicueta is on the long term injury list.
