St. Etienne Toulouse Match Preview
St. Etienne lost 1:2 to Lens away from home. St. Etienne were close to open the scored in first minutes, but Payet wasted good chance. Lens tried counter attacks, but to be honest first half was really boring. Second half was also far from top class game, but at least there were 3 goals. St. Etienne took the lead after deflection and own goal by Chelle in 78th minute. 4 minutes later Lens got a penalty and Roudet scored an equalizer. One minute later St. Etienne were even more confused as Perrin scored an own goal. Lens won the game, but whole match was boring with bizarre own goals and without many clear chances to score. Important midfielder Batlles is suspended. Striker Sanogo is back to squad after long injury, he was never important player so he start on the bench anyway.
Toulouse won 1:0 against Nancy at home. Both sides struggled to create clear chances. Toulouse took the lead in 28th minute. Tabanou was lucky to score - he scored after cross with some deflection, goalkeeper went for the ball, but he was too late and Tabanou pushed the ball to the empty goal. Nancy tried to bounce back, they creating some chances, but almost all of them were only a half chances - some deflections, some set pieces, shoots from distance, but nothing really good, lack of final product, lack of clear chances. All in all Toulouse did not do much to win this game. Regular centre back Mohamed Fofana is out.
Prediction: Both teams are average at the moment. I count that home factor will be decisive. Home win.
