Lyon - Valenciennes   

Olympique Lyon lost 0:2 against Lorient away from home. Definitely early goal from penalty spot help them much. Then they had another good chances, but goalie Hugo Lloris was in good form, but he has nothing to say in second strike when Kitambala scored his first goal for a new club. Lyon also had some chances, especially Yoann Gourcuff who came in during the first half. New synthetics surface on Lorient's stadium also favor hosts and they deserved for a win. In last 2 weeks they were time for National duties, but Yoann Gourcuff was suspended after a red card against South Africa NT. So he has time to adopted in new club, surely his friend Jeremy Toulalan who was not called to National Team help him much. Back of best striker Lisandro Lopez also should be a big reinforcement. He already played some minutes against Lorient, but he was not fully fit. This time he is expecting to start from first minutes. Centre back Pape Diakhate will play for hosts in this season. He is a Dinamo Kyiv player, now loaned to Lyon, but in last season he played regular for St. Etienne so he know very well how to play in Ligue 1. Good cover for regular Lyon's centre backs. Chris is still injured so Diakhate could debut for new team. Aly Cissokho is still injured. Cesar Delgado is out. The good news is fact that Lisandro Lopez is fully fit and Michel Bastos is expecting to return to the fist XI.
Valenciennes last 0:1 at home against Montpellier. They had big problems with well defending guests. Montpellier was not active in attack department, but thanks to a Giroud's header they grab 3 points. Valenciennes sold another player who was regular in last season. This time it's centre back Siaka Tiene who moved to PSG. In this season Ivory Coast International did not play any minute fro Valenciennes. A new face is central midfielder Loriot from Le Mans, but he is not in the squad for Lyon. Right winger Dossevi is set for debut.
Prediction: Lyon has finally some time to regroup, to integrate new star Gourcuff and best striker Lisandro Lopez has a time to improve his fitness. It's time to back on track. Odds around 1.50-1.55 are not great, but worth a try this time. Home win.
