Cagliari have made major changes in the last week. The coach Ballardini is out and the new/old coach Ficcadenti will have the task to guarantee the home side its stay in Serie A for next season. Most importantly for the team, Cossu and Pinilla have been recuperated and even though they are not at their best, Cagliari attack will certainly become more dangerous. The bad streak for Cagliari began with the injury of Pinilla, so the good one will be begin with his recuperation. 

Cesena is already relegated and the team is playing only for good moral. The team has been very disappointing in defense and has won 2 points in the last 9 rounds. The attack is OK on counters, as Cesena had a couple of good away outings - against Lazio, Napoli and Fiorentina. Here however, they will not be underestimated and Cagliari already know what is to play against a relegation battler - ie the match Vs Lecce.
