Rennes demonstrated great insistence last week against Auxerre, but their defensive performing is still under the usual level. They admitted a hit with only few decent attempts by the visitors and Pitroipa (who is definitely getting in form) and Erding (who made a good return after missing lat round) saved their side. We don’t remember when the last success of Toulouse at that stadium was, but the recent form of the visitors should embarrass the hosts.  

The first choice left full- back M’Bengue has returned after suspension and the Csanova’s eleven seems completed. That European battle would be decided by the quality of the Toulouse defending after Rennes are very aggressive up- front. However, the good long shots by Didot and company and the sharp on the ground crosses demonstrated against Lorient could be very useful as visitors. Mistakes like that one by Boye for the Auxerre’s goal also make a home victory of Rennes not granted.
