Everton Arsenal Match Preview
Everton
Out: Donovan, Gibson
Arsenal
Out: Abou Diaby, Coquelin, Eastmond, Mertesacker, Wilshere
Doubts: Squillaci
Despite their solid performing (especially in the defence) the season of Everton is almost finished. Considering the intense schedule we expect the hosts to focus on the second match against Sunderland for FA Cup. The non- losing streak of the Moyes’ men was ended in the derby and in their performing we saw signs of form dropping. Before that, Tottenham were defeated only because the decent play of the Caramels in the first part of the game, but comparing their attack with that one of their next visitors, we should support Arsenal. The long balls towards Fellaini were often won by him, but he wasn’t supported properly by his teammates, who should take the second ball.
The Gunners are in great form- were pretty close to the miracle against Milan and made another last minute victory- this time over Newcastle. Arsenal didn’t give any chances to their rivals in the match and we saw the fans and the players more confident in the team’s abilities. The attacks are fast, the Wenger’s men build numeral superiority of men in the opposite half of the pitch and if it is not achieved, they could rely on their technical skills.
