Newcastle were opposing to Arsenal only in the first half of the game. The Pardew’s men relied on their intense pressing in the opposite part of the field, which gave them opposite outcomes during the game. The manger made too optimistic and offensive substitutions with Ameobi instead Obertan, and that left more free space to Gibbs in the Arsenal’s left flank. With the difficulties of Santon against Walcott the defender was replaced once against on the break and that definitely would affect him in the future.
We could say that Norwich are in a mini- crisis. They create less clear chances lately and admitted to be completely outplayed at home by the bottom side Wigan. The novices are far enough from the relegation zone, but the manager Lambert will not be calm until his team is saved. Despite that their offensive power has dropped and we put the hosts as favorites pushing for their first victory in the last five meetings. A week spot in Newcastle defending is the coping with the set pieces and considering the very good headers by the guests, it could be used. We expect Jonas to be more involved in the attack than against Arsenal and the flanks would be stronger at home.
Tip: Newcastle win- Odds: 1.80 Stake: 7/10
