Athletic once again looked a little bit tired, but succeeded to make a good game thanks to the aerial superiority of Llorente (who came as a substitution in the second half) in the opposite box. Herrera was under his usual level and the aggression in the midfield wasn’t the same. They were building the attacks hard and in that situation the price for them are very low, and yet it is a Basque derby.

Real Sociedad have chance to face against their biggest problem- the inconsistency of their performing- they win a game at home and lose another on the road… We could say that Real were unconvincing even at home in the last match trying mostly shots from distance and most of them were very inaccurate. The first half was very boring, but the team have their chance on counters here, relying on Vela and Griezmann on the flanks and Agirretxe in the box (ot Llorente- he is recovered and appeared against Malorca).
