Wigan possess the ball more consistently in the last fixtures and we could say that there is an improvement in that. The outcome is more precise defending by the bottom side. It seems the right time for them to take points from a rivals as Swansea at home. The Martinez’ men were dominating in the game with Aston Villa and in the second half the offensive minded midfield of the hosts should score at least once. However, even the changes up- front with Rodallega, Diame and Crusat joined as substitutions couldn’t make the team more efficient. We believe they are capable to present even better in this round.

Swansea looked fresher in the beginning of their meeting at Britannia, but this impression was lost bit by bit. Despite they punished Stoke exactly with their own weapon- a goal after a throw- we saw a negative signs in their performance. The Welsh side were very unfruitful in the attack and we think the manager Rodgers doesn’t have to blame only the goalkeeper’s forced change for the loss. The bad away attitude is in turn again.
