After two consecutive 0-0 draws all the Boca’s fen expected at least a minimal victory at home. They are still maintaining the non- losing run, but with such a poor performance as in the visit to Union de Santa Fe the Falconi’s men definitely will start dropping in the average table and lose important points in the title race. It seemed the problems between him and Cvitanich affected to the game. Boca will play without two of the most experienced defenders Rolando Schiavi and Facundo Roncaglia.
Newell’s Old Boys are improving, but they continue miss a lot of scoring chances up- front. The problems is that the forwards can not convert them in goals- Sperdutti used the empty spaces and placed shots from distance and Urruti demonstrated very good dribbling skills, but the effectiveness was pretty low. NOB are masters of the draws and if they put more efforts in the midfield, the game could be a tough one for Boca.
