Godoy were smashed by Universidad de Chile in the Copa Liberatadores fixture and that could erase the positive impression left by the side in Clausura. We were about to praise them for their morale against Racing after they succeeded to score with a man down. However, even with few rested men and almost whole squad chnged we don’t see Godoy as strong favorites.
Tigre seem to be the more aggressive team in this game. They place many shots towards the opponents’ gates and with the performance against San Martin the Arrubarrena’s men would be capable to fight against relegation more freely. We saw good dribbling by Morales, efficient headers after set pieces and the passionate teenage star Leandro Diaz. Their better play in the last season is fact and the bookies’ odds for the encounter are decent.
