Velez were very aggressive against the humble Banfield in the second round of Clausura. They play with huge confidence and we saw many quality shots by Martinez, great popping- up behind the Banfield’s defenders by Insua and strong performance on both flanks. The manager Gareca would repeatthe starting line- up from the game against Guadalajara and they present as the powerful club in Argentina at the moment.
The visitors also are involved in Copa Libertadores tournament and present very good thus far. Arsenal are among the fighters in the league and despite they hardly maintain their lead at home (they don’t have the biggest crowd in Primera Division) as visitors they are pretty tough for outplaying. The team is a technique one and we expect to see goals here. The top scorer Zelaya (from Apertura) and the first- choice defenders Nervo and Perez will be back in the squad rested and not participate in the midweek Copa Libertadores victory over Zamora.
