It is the most convinient opponent for Racing to play at home and regain their confidence. Considering their improving performance in the last seasons the hosts are count as one of the title pretenders, but their timid results thus far are about to deny that. They played slow and passive football against the ten- men Godoy and Moreno was involved in one of the very few events in front of the Ibanez. We believe it is time the squad to pull together and despite the skipper Claudio Yacob will not appear his replacement Patricio Toranzo would make the team even more offensive with only Agustín Pellettieri left as a central midfielder.

But what we could say about Banfield. Their start of Clausura is just awful and they were smashed by Velez. The new manager da Silva can not inspire his methods to the players yet. The defending of the guests needs to be amended as soon as possible after the disaster in the heart of the line. Without their top scorer Fereyra we expect Banfield to be pretty harmless and should try to be greedier supporting the hosts, considering that almost each side score more than two hits in the guests’ net.
