Both sides received five goals each in the last Premier League round, but we believe we can not compare them just looking at this results. We could say that Newcastle weren’t prepared enough for the battle in London. After the fast three hits in their net in the first twenty minutes the Pardew’s men were morally smashed and we saw only few unsuccessful attempts to break the Tottenham’s back line. Defensively there was too many late actions and many balls lost by the central midfielders Perch and Guthrie, who were easily overcome by the opponents. However, we believe the players would learn from this game and we should see their usual insistence up- front.
Terry Connor was given the role of caretaker manager by Wolves after the sacking of Mick McCarthy. The terrible performing in the Black Country Derby put them as huge underdogs here. There is no any organization in the defensive line of the guests; they leave too many unmarked men in front and in their box and lose the air fights. With such attitude Wolves are doomed to drop in the Championship. The only spark in the attack is Fletcher and he is not enough for opposing Newcastle. If the visitors score once, the Pardew’s band would do it at least twice.
Tip: Newcastle -0.75 Odds: 1.79
