Aston Villa Man City Aston Villa- Manchester City
Aston Villa
Out: Beye, Delfouneso, Delph, Herd
Doubts: Agbonlahor, Ireland
Expected Formation: Given; Hutton, Dunne, Cuéllar, Lichaj; Petrov, Clark; Ireland, Keane, N'Zogbia; Bent
The appearance of Heskey on the left flank of the Villa’s attack wasn’t the best move by the manager McLeish in the last fixture against Newcastle. That’s why we expect the return of Agbonlahor, who is much better on this position. The young Gardner definitely has future in the club, but as we saw the shots are not his priority. The attack remains the most interesting part of the squad with the crazy old Keane, who seems to partner Bent once again. The concerns are about the midfield- Petrov and Ireland admitted to be outplayed in crucial moments. Defensively, the opportunities for the rivals are more than usual.
Manchester City
Out: K. Touré, Y. Touré
Doubts: Kompany, Nasri
Banned: Balotelli
Expected Formation: Hart; Richards, Kompany, Lescott; Milner, Barry; Silva, Agüero, Nasri, Dzeko
Cuty maintained their perfect home records in Premier League without any pressure. They scored three times at walking pace at Etihad. With different defensive line (Savic instead Kompany and Kolarov instead Clichy) the Manchester’s side were more stable, despite Fulham were pretty toothless and their performance in the game can not tell us if this change is positive. Aguero is a magician as we have said before, and he can score and create chances for his partners. We could say that he decided the match, because the midfield made too many mistakes and even admitted the ball possession to the visitors.
This encounter will not be as easy as the previous one for City, considering the Keane- Bent factor. But the points are needed for the title.
Tip: Bet #1: Man City -0.75 Odds: 1.93 Stake: 4/10
Bet #2: Both teams to score- Odds: 1.91 Stake: 4/10
