Wolverhampton WBA Wolves- WBA
Wolverhampton
Out: Elokobi, Guédioura, Kightly, Vokes
Doubts: Craddock, Edwards, Foley, O'Hara, Zubar
Banned: Henry
Expected Formation: Hennessey; Stearman, Bassong, Johnson, Ward; Foley Edwards, O'Hara, Jarvis; Fletcher, Doyle
Wolves played their last game as they play in the whole season. The victory was achieved thanks to the great team spirits and the ability of the players to pull together and come from behind in their encounters. We lied the fighting attitude of the McCarthy’s men, who took an advantage from the mistake if Cisse, who left his side with ten men. Jarvis and Doyle left impression with the latter came on the scoring mood after tough period. Fletcher hit the post once and in that situation the hosts are slight favorites. The manger succeeded with the more offensive scheme after the hit for the opponents (the joining of Ebanks- Blake and Doyle). Wolves are the only bottom side that won their match in last round and that gave them a little advantage in the competition. The Black Country derby always is very outstanding and we can expect goals here.
WBA
Out: Brunt, Gera, Jara, Mattock
Doubts: Dorrans, Long
Expected Formation: Foster; Reid, Olsson, McAuley, Shorey; Morrison, Mulumbu, Scharner, Thomas; Odemwingie, Fortuné
WBA presented an opposite behavior and were defeated after they had already token the lead. The long- passing- style of the Baggies was outplayed by the combinative mind of Swansea. However, the guests are the better side in the air with Olsson involved in the corners and despite the return of Reid and Thomas wasn’t as effective as we expected, but the second one should be more focused today and the speed of his runs can provide danger. The presence in the Wolves’ box will be strongly physical with Fortune in- form (he scored a goal also in the FA Cup battle with Norwich).
We give an advantage for Wolves, the emergency of the moment and their strong spirits.
