Bolton Wigan Bolton- Wigan
Bolton
Out: Alonso, Davis, Gardne, Holden, Lee
Doubts: Riley, Steinsson
Expeceted Formation: Bogdan; Steinsson, Wheater, Knight, Mears; Eagles, Muamba, M Davies, Reo-Coker, Petrov; Ngog
Both sides play worst defensively in the league. The departure of Gary Cahill wasn’t the main reason for the big holes at the back- the team just put more efforts in the attack. In addition to that Knight is far from his best days. With only a single scoring opportunity in the first half against Norwich Bolton were pretty close to leave negative impression for their abilities up- front. After the interval Kevin Davies appeared on the pitch, but his performance reminds us to the Torres’ one. N’Gog is on his way to find his proper place in the club and he is a player who can convert the quality crosses by Petrov and Eagles to goals.
Wigan
Out: Kirkland, Maloney
Expeceted Formation: Habsi; Stam, Caldwell, Figueroa; Gómez, Diamé, McCarthy, Beausejour; Moses; Di Santo
Every bottom fight become more and more important than the previous one for the Martinez’ men. The manger told that he appreciated the efforts of his men against Everton and blamed the lack of chance, but we are not agreed with him. Wigan should be more dangerous as the results are showing. With their willingness for open play and three aggressive men with sight towards the rivals’ box (Di Santo- Gomez- Moses) the Latics should score more often. The bad communication was obvious at times- Gomez was inaccurate in passing and the guiltiest one Moses was very selfish and wasted two golden opportunities for his side. These are two teams with bad defence and strong desire in the attack. An over should be considered.
Tip: Over 2.5 goals- Odds: 1.80 Stake: 7/10
