San Martin played decent first Apertura in Primera Division and they could fight at least for the same spot after they are far from relegation. The confidence of the players is higher now and we expect an equal fight at San Juan. The defensive line is stable and the both in the center of it are used to play together. The points (if the side is capable for more than one) should be earned by Penco and Caprari up- front, who also show good communication.
Independiente start a campaign searching their first title since a long time ago. The first thing that Javier Cantero (the new president of the club) has done is to vote credit to the manager Ramón Díaz and his tactics. The former striker of the Brazilian Cruseiro Ernesto Farias would play alongside Leonel Núñez, who wasn’t convincing enough in the end of the last Primera.
