Boca ended Apertura without a single loss, but we haven’t seen many huge victories (only two games with two goals difference and two with more than these). Ledesma is back to the club after three seasons in Catania. He is experienced fighter and alongside Riquelme and Rivero would create more solid midfield. The Uruguayan Santiago Silva (from Fiorentina) will bring more weight to the attack, despite the not very productive stay in Italy. After the tough and nervous fixture against the third division Santamarina de Tandil (won after penalties) the manager Falcioni would use the same line- up and is hoping to avoid injuries before the Copa Libertadores’ fight in Venezuela.
Olimpo are far from winning that one. They presented decent defending against the mediocre sides in the Apertura, but a visit to the leader puts them in unenviable position. The debut of the manager Hector Rivoira will be a hard one and we expect the second- choice goalkeeper to start between the posts. The striker Emiliano Romero has recovered for the clash, but he is still searching his first goal for the tournament. A big success would be a minimal loss- the team don’t have the quality to oppose the hosts, but are capable to confuse the Riquelme’s creativity.
