Napoli Cesena Match Preview

Napoli was clearly destroyed by Genoa and the two goals in the end did not do much for Napoletanian cause. The defense was atrocious. At home it should be a different thing, as the 3 man defense and high pressure line is beneficial. Expected line up is De Sanctis - Aronica, Fernandez, Grava - Dossena, Inler, Gargano, Maggio - Pandev, Cavani, Hamsik. Of course the attack is the most notable line, and even though Cavani is not scoring that much lately, goals are still coming left and right. The pace of Pandev (lavezzi) together wth the long shots of Hamsik do often harm. Midfield is also good - all the 4 are hardworking players, who even not gifted technically that much, assist the attack pretty well. The big questionmark is on the defense, who has often allowed silly goals. 

Napoli are not doing that remakable against tight defending teams - draw with Bologna, loss to Parma. 

Cesena defense however is not tight at all. Antoniolli, the goalie has been one of the weakest lines in the squad. Formation for today is Antonioli - Rodrigez, Berggen, Moras - Pudil, Martinho, Guana, Parolo, Comotto - Renella, Malonga. Mutu has been left out of the squad to get some rest. That means Cesena do not have any intention to attack and everything will be concentrated on the defense. And this consequently means Napoli will get all the chances in the world to get goals. Cesena is used to losing games with difference (only wins have come against Bologna and Palermo). Here we do not see how Cesena could draw to 0-0.
