Atletico have switched on their scoring machine, Falcao is in- form and they are once again on track for the European spots after a 0-1 victory at Osasuna on Monday night. They didn’t place many quality shots, but the defence was pretty effective. The good results for the hosts came after the managers’ change and the more focused play up- front. Atletico are aggressive in every fight, but recently the opportunities are converted more easily to goals.
Valencia look pretty saved in their current position in the league standing with five points more than Levante and Espanyol. It will not be a great disaster if they lose that visit, but we don’t have to underestimate their non- losing run. The visitors would be tired after the tough battle in Santander and the Cup test with Barcelona. They should be capable at least to stop the clean sheets streak of the Madrid’s side.
