We don’t remember the last Wolves’ victory and the FA Cup failure also wouldn’t help rising the team spirits. But the team looked pretty good offensively against Villa in the derby of the West Midlands. There were passion and turnarounds in the match, but the Wolves themselves are guilty for the defeat- Without both defensive midfielders (Frimpong, who was injured and Karl Henry, which stupid actions left his side with ten men) the opponents were invading easily to the box and the long shots weren’t denied.
The success in the Cups (both sides from Manchester were eliminated) for Liverpool made Dalglish smiling and his team favorite in this meeting. With Bolton the defence sometimes was acting like the players see each other for the first time. The absence of Leiva is a part- reason for that, but up- front Bellamy becomes a key factor and it seems like he could use properly the power of Carroll in the air battles. Another open game is coming.
Tip: Both teams to score- Odds: 1.95 Stake: 6/10
