Sunderland sign Lee Cattermole £6m.

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce sign Cattermole, for a second time after paying Middlesbrough £3.5m to take him to Wigan. Cattermole will go into Sunderland's squad for their Premier League opener against Bolton on Saturday. This is the 5th acquisition for the black cats following Darren Bent, Lorik Cana, Fraizer Campbell and Paulo Da Silva.

"The initial offer from Sunderland was unacceptable as we said at the time, but they have now matched our valuation", said Wigan's boss Roberto Martinez.
