Edman to join Helsinborg

Erik Edman, the 31-year-old defender parts company with Wigan and will get back to his home country - Sweden. Edman has been abroad for long, playing in clubs like Heerenveen, Tottenham, Rennes and Wigan, and finally decided to join his first professional club - Helsingborg. The last appearance Edman made for Wigan was in the match against Tottenham, lost 9-1.
