Gudjohnsen joins Tottenham

The 31-year-old forwards was heavily tipped to join West Ham, after he passed medicals with the club. But his final decision was to join Hotspurs and keep them in the battle for 4th place. Eidur will be playing for Tottenham on loan from the French side Monaco until the end of the season. West Ham manager Zola was truly disappointed, as the Icelandic forward did not treat him with respect. 

Gudjohnsen will be the 5th striker of Tottenham, which will not increase the chances of Pavluchenko and Keane for a regular spot.
