Patrick Vieira has officially joined Manchester City

Patrick Vieira has become the first 2010 signing for Manchester City and the first player brought to the club by new manager Roberto Mancini. The news was officially published in the City's website and comfirmed the the Italian manager himself. It has not been yet reported how much Inter Milano received as a transfer fee.
33-year-old Vieira has joined the Citizens on a 6 month contract and will wear number 24 on his back. The French defensive midfielder has stated that he is very happy with the oppotinity he is presented with and will be looking to play more often with the prospect of securing a place in his nation's World Cup squad.
