Both the teams from Manchester are pretty interested in the defensive qualities of Chiellini. The Juventus defender will be a perfect addition for the clubs, as Mancini and Ferguson have too many missing players in this department. Man United recorded a heavy 3-0 loss at the hands of Fulham last week, and their central couple in the defense was more than extravagant - Fletcher and Carrick. 

Chiellini, although in one of the top Italian clubs, has been reported to be interested in a move to the Premiership. Man City could offer much to the 25-year-old in terms of wages, but the Red Devils could guarantee regular Champions League football.
