Hecking – Nurnberg’s last hope

Nurnberg have appointed Dieter Hecking as their new coach. Hecking, who voluntarily stepped out of coaching Hannover in August due to a disastrous start to the season, will now be expected to save Nurnberg from a close return to second division.

Currently Nurnberg are second from bottom in the table, having lost the last four games without scoring a single goal under the supervision of recently sacked ex-coach Michael Oenning.
