Lillo is Almeria’s new coach

Almeria have assigned Juan Manuel Lillo as coach to replace Hugo Sanchez. Sanchez was fired after Almeria's 2-0 defeat at Espanyol which put the team only a point above the relegation places.

Lillo’s previous coach experience includes clubs like Salamanca, Real Zaragoza and Real Sociedad. The first training session of the team with their new coach will be on December 28, less than a week later Lillo will have the chance to prove himself as a coach in the clash with Xerez on January 3rd.
