Zhirkov may be loaned to AS Roma

The AS Roma board will try to take on a loan deal Russian winger Yuriy Zhirkov from Chelsea. Roma boss Claudio Ranieri has already contacted the London club and has made an offer to take the player until the end of the season.

Yuriy Zhirkov has struggled to break into the Chelsea’s first team, having started the season injured. He made his Premier League debut last Sunday against West Ham.
