Wilson Palacios suffers rib injury

Tottenham midfielder Wilson Palacios was taken to hospital after suffering a rib injury at the 2-2 draw away at Everton on Sunday.

The 25-year told was hurt when he was fouled by Tony Hibbert, which resulted in a penalty that Jermain Defoe missed.

Palacios has been a key figure for Spurs since arriving in a £12m deal from Wigan in January.

The Honduran international has made 25 league starts in central midfield playing side by side either with Jermaine Jenas or Tom Huddlestone.
