Rhino Gattuso set to join Man City

Gattuso has rejected the newly offered contract for Milan, thus increasing the rumors for his joining the Citizens. Gattuso, now 31, is all set to revive his carreer in England, as in Milan he has had limited playing time this year. Moreover, he has not met with Leonardo, therefore, he seems to have made up his mind.

Gattuso believes that a spell in England will increase his chances of playing at the World Cup next year. Ancellotti is said to also want the former Rangers player, so the Citizens will face a hard battle for the influential midfielder. 

Milan's point of view of a future transfer have been expressed by A. Galliani: "There is a proposal by Manchester City although at present there's still no kind of agreement or something written. But Chelsea are not interested in a purchase. I've talked with Ancelotti."
