Janko is the " Player of the Season"

Marc Janko is for his colleagues the "Player of the Season" in the Austrian Bundesliga. The player was honored Sunday night as part of the "Bruno-Gala" in Vienna Hilton Hotel. Janko won as the other winners in nine categories, a Swarovski crystal trophy with a value of around 1,500 euros. 

SV Ried Paul Gludovatz was elected as coach of the season   was honored by the. Prizes have been awarded every year since 1997, and are reminiscent of the former Austrian National defender Bruno Pezzey. He had collapsed on New Year's Eve 1994, during an ice hockey in Innsbruck with circulatory problems and later died in hospital at the age of 39 years.
