News from the training session of Espanyol

Ivan de la Pena, Espanyol's captain, has injured himself during the training session on Monday. He ritired the morning exercises with visible discomfort in the right leg. The player, noticeably upset, has left the pitch with ice on the affected area. He will be tested later for uncovering the full extent of the injury.

Argentinian Nico Pareja has rejoined practice after his commitment in the friendly between his national team and Spain.David Garcia, Moises Hurtado and Juan Forlín also participated normally in the long  preparation for the next league game against Getafe.

Ferran Corominas was one of the most  active in the training. His performance this season is at higher level, difference made by the more minutes and confidence that he receives from the coach Mauricio Pochettino.
