Wiljan Vloet is the new coach of NEC.

NEC have reached an agreement with Wiljan Vloet for a new head coach. The 47-year-old will sign a contract for two and a half years and starts on Monday. He succeeds Lodeweges, who resigned last month.

The trainer worked in the past with Roda JC, Sparta Rotterdam, ADO Den Haag. Previously, he worked at the highest level with FC Den Bosch.

Vloet takes over the tasks on Monday from interim coach Wim Rip. Rip took the lead after Lodeweges decided to leave in the end of October. Lodeweges started in NEC in thelast summer, as a successor to Mario Been, who went to work at Feyenoord.
