The Australian Thorne wants Roda.

David Thorne is still interested in acquiring Roda JC. Previous talks between the businessman and director Martin van Geel were in May but lead to nothing.

Thorne thinks Roda need 25 million euros to be in good financial health again and to play European football. The Australian says this partly amount to invest, but he is demanding to have a say in the club.

Director Van Geel is unhappy about the statement made by the businessman. According to Van Geel Thorne has never stated clearly what he wanted. "We have talked from April to August, but that never led to concrete proposals. Ultimately, we wanted to get clarification by 26 August from Thorne, but he has not replied back, " Van Geel clarifies.
