A new salary cap introduced to Feyenoord.

Mario Been is concerned that with the new policy Feyenoord deployed to stop one million contracts, all experienced players will disappear.

The coach hopes that Giovani van Bronckhorst will extend his expiring contract. "With his experience Gio is of great value. But he will also have to agree with the new conditions."

Feyenoord are no longer going to pay one million salaries. "Players should no longer come to Feyenoord for to be a millionaire, but to develop themselves", the trainer believes.

For Roy Makaay there is interest from Germany. The attacker, who barely appears in the plans of Been, was on the wish list of Hertha BSC. Makaay has an expiring contract, just like Denny Landzaat.

Van Bronckhorst has recently responded to the rumor that he may have to leave for Saudi Arabia to develop there. The left fullback is associated with Al-Shamal and Al-Rayyan in Qatar, where Ronald de Boer played.
