Sunderland keeper Craig Gordon is sidelined.

The £9m signing fractured his left forearm during Saturday's 2-0 defeat by Tottenham.

It is not yet known how many games the 26-year-old Gordon will miss. But the Scotland international will definitely sit out his country's friendly against Wales next Saturday.

Gordon was eventually replaced by Marton Fulop and taken to hospital, where X-rays revealed a fracture of the forearm.
