Hertha Goalkeeper Jaroslav Drobny backed up his young replacement

Despite all critics against Sascha Burchert's performance during Drobny's absence, the experienced goalkeeper stood up in front of the media and defended his young colleague.

"It was not his fault that Hertha failed to perform. Sascha did well during my absence", said Drobny. It has been a difficult season for Hertha due to the departure of  key players such as Josip Simunic, Andriy Voronin and Marko Pantelic.

Currently the club holds bottom positions in both the Bundesliga and their Europe League group.
