Heiko Herrlich - Bochum's new coach
Wednesday , 28.10.2009
Former Germany striker Herrlich will be in charge of Bochum as their head coach, replacingFrank Heinemann.
Heinemann took the team after Marcel Koller's release in September, and will now go back to his assistant coach role. Since his retirement in 2004, Herrlich has managed the Germany under-17s and under-19s.
Coaching Bochum's players will be the first club job for the 37-year-old striker, who is determined to drag the team out of its current second-from-bottom position in the Bundesliga.
