Mikkel Vendelbo is out with an injury for the rest of the year.

Mikkel Vendelbo has been one of the prospects at Esbjerg midfield this autumn. However, in the match against FC Copenhagen last Sunday he got injured.

- I have torn ligaments in my inner part of the right knee, which means that I probably will not play with the squad till Christmas, unfortunately, says Vendelbo the club's website.

- It's insanely annoying, but I should accept the fact and I must look ahead. When the fluid is out of the knee, then I will start my rehabilitation, "says Vendelbo.
