Diyan Petkov leaves Sliven on mutual consent
Third coach has resigned in A PFL League in only a single round. Sliven coach Dian Petkov left the club after his team made against 1:1 Beroe. Petkov broke his contract by mutual consent and without any dramas.
Petkov took the team of Sliven in the beginning of the season, after previously leading Naftex. Naftex lost a barrage for promotion in the hands of Sportist Svoge. Petkov subsequently began work in the team of Jordan Lechkov, but after 11 rounds the team is above the relegation line with just 8 points. Petkov failed to fill the gap left by the four players who were sold to CSKA (Yanev, K.Stoyanov, I.Stoyanov, Chavdarov). A new coach of Sliven is expected to be appointed in the next few days.
Earlier the weekend resignation have submitted Velizar Popov of Cherno More and Ivan Marinov from Lokomotiv Plovdiv. Popov's resignation was not accepted while Marinov has been replaced.
