Nordsaelland player suspended for one match
DBU's Disciplinary Committee came out with a decision regarding Karlsen's despicable behaviour after Nordsaelland - Randers match:
- In the minutes after the completion of the SAS League match between FC Nordsjaelland and Randers FC on Sunday afternoon Morten Karlsen in derogatory language made a spontaneous description of the referee Nicolai Vollquartz reads it DBUs website.
- Vollquart did not hear even the slurs after the final whistle, so he did not react to give red cards to the player on the spot. The comments came after several negative remarks to him by the same player during the match, which Vollquartz however, had chosen to ignore.
- The comments after the match completion fall in fourth referee Thomas Kurt Nielsen's hearing, so the player was subsequently pointed out that his outcome would be reported to the DBU.
FC Nordsjaelland were seeing themselves winners of the match, when in the dying seconds Randers equallized for the final 2-2 draw.
