Espanyol let their star striker leave for nothing

It has been reported that Raul Tamudo's contract at Espanyol will be terminated by the end of this week. Reasons stay uncertain and it seems like both parties have different visions on the situation. Coach Mauricio Pochettino claims that Tamundo was the one forcing an exit out of the team as he demanded a lowered buy-out clause before he could leave.

This move have raised questions about the stricker's commitment to the team.  The player and his agent Tomas Duran denied such accusations and argued that cancellation of the contract would be the best possible solution as both sides have failed to find any reconciliation.
