HSV haunted by injuries

Hamburg's Romeo Castelen suffered a knee during a friendly match against Halle last week and will be out of play. Recovery period could reach up to three months. A similar injury kept the 26 year-old winger out for the entire 2008/2009 season.

Castelen has made only two appearances in this year's Bundesliga.

It has been a season of injuries for Hamburg - Collin Benjamin, Paolo Guerrero and Alex Silva have all picked up serious knee injuries while Mladen Petric, Marcell Jansen and Bastian Reinhardt all sustained other injuries that have kept them on sidelines for several weeks.
