Serse Cosmi is the new coach of Livorno.

Aldo Spinelli, chose the former coach of Brescia on the bench to replace the dismissed Gennaro Ruotolo. The employment of Cosmi however, will be made official tomorrow, but now there seems no more doubts. The technician, who beat competition from Gigi Cagni, will sign a contract until the end of the current season with an option for next year in case Livorno does not relegate. Cosmi will bring its technical staff and has therefore been relieved of Vittorio Russo, Ruotolo tutor on the bench.

Gigi Cagni agreed with the choice of fair play Spinelli. "Riccardo Sogliano (consultant to the president) called me late in the afternoon to communicate the decision - said Cagni - and I thank him for the correctness who have had towards me. I had promised a reply within the day and so it was. Now I'm in heart, and wiht all honesty, wish good luck to Livorno and its new coach Serse Cosmi.
