Toni Velkov resigns as a manager of Minyor Pernik

After being attacked by any handful means by the fans of his own club , senior coach of a Minyor (Pernik) Tony Velkov resigned. The specialist received stones, bottles, umbrellas and mobile phones because of the loss, with over 100 fans waiting for him before the team locker room after the match against Lokomotiv Sofia. Velkov tomorrow(20.10) will meet with the president of his club Nikifor Vangelov to discuss his resignation. The coach, however, declared that he no longer wants to lead the miners.

It is not yet clear whether the bosses of teh club will accept the resignation. The sports and technical director of the club Georgi Slavchev was trying to convince the fans personally, that it is hard to find a suitable manager to replace Velkov.
